crash to login screen
Almost evertime i zone i crash to the login screen, or it doesnt zone at all and freezes. There are times where i cant even get to the character selection screen, and goes back to login screen. I have tried everything on the forums and nothing has worked. I am running a AMD Turion 64 x2. I was able to run EQ fine when i played on this computer, but running with EQEmu it sucks. I am also using Vista. Again, I have tried all of the configurations for dual core and vista. NOTHING works. Please help.

You even tried running in compatibility mode? That normally clears up Vista issues. Info on how to do it is in the FAQ in my sig.

yes i have. I am running in windows xp compat mode. I really am boggled on what to do next. here is the error from my dbg file, maybe this will help.

Just to be safe, you should try all of the different compatibility mode options. I don't know what the exact differences are, but I do know that it can help if set correctly. Maybe trying windows 98 would help, but I would try each one to be sure.
The only other thing I can think of would be to make sure you are running a legal copy of Titanium that hasn't been modified in any way. If you are, then try uninstalling and deleting the directory, then install it again and see what happens. If you have downloaded any custom files from other servers, that can definitely cause issues on other servers. |
