Private Host on PC?
 

I was wondering if EQEMU can be used to host a server on my PC and then play via LAN with friends, or just play solo? So I guess I'm essentially asking is there a way I can use EQEMU to set up a local server and play on it with friends, similar to if I were going to set up a game on LAN for an RTS or 1st-person shooter?

Also, if there is a way, how?

Yes, you can easily setup the system on your computer to play by yourself or on a local LAN with your friends, and through Hamachi over the Internet even without using the EQemu login server.
