The following servers have achieved green status but I don't have contacts for them:

Also if anyone thinks I unfairly passed them by feel free to PM me as well and I'll take another look.

this is spider from SoA i don't know y cant get my old name back.. actually i know y hotmail blocked my email with the password reset lol.. but anyways thanks for the green love you guys and the players of SoA without witch this would not have been possible.

note.. if there is a way to change this name to spider so i can use my old name or resend the password for my old account that would be nice also KLS..

KLS, I will contact Hunter (EZ) and let him know in case he hasn't seen this yet. Gratz to all servers that have made the new Green Status. All are well-deserved :)

Also, Spider, hotmail was blocking the emails from these forums for a while, but we finally got them to clear the block. So, if you do another password reset on your Spider account, it should actually work this time as long as you don't have any specific filters setup to block it.

PM KLS, basically, she wants to move you to the preferred section on the server list

not sure if she just wants to know if she has a go ahead to do so or you need to do something with your config or something, so PM KLS :P

Yeah, if you PM KLS, she will give you the login information for your server config file that you need to use to become green status.

Probably a rough estimate for the requirements of the different statuses is soemthing like this, though nothing official has been set for it yet:

Green Status:
1. 95%+ uptime
2. 50+ players on at peak hours
3. Server has been up and open to the public for 3-6+ months straight

Legends Status:
1. 95%+ uptime
2. 150+ players on at peak hours
3. Server has been up and open to the public for 1+ years straight

I think the team just needs to discuss it and set the standards publicly so people know. For now, I think KLS just wanted to get most of the servers that have been deserving the status change for quite a while now all in. Probably in the future when things get more organized on the new EQEmu host, we might see standards set for things like this.

For green, stability is key more than anything. These aren't enterprise servers some downtime here and there is going to happen, but you can tell the difference between a permanent server and a run of the mill me and my friends play on the weekend server. Also being an established and respected server is part of that, I didn't factor population too highly in it.

My biggest problem with downtime is some of the nasty thunderstorms we have been having in north texas.

The Hidden Forest server is doing it's best too to become green. Please keep an eye on us, we are running the server on a dedicated nasa super computer. :p
