EQLive Patch
 

EQLive was patched, the changes were 'major' according to them but they are pretty minor IMO. We have it working for eqlive (they broke zoning, AGAIN, fixed, changed playerprofile, fixed, newzone changed (cfg files)). Unfortunately we have to collect all the CFG files again because they changed NewZone, so please be patient and it will be out in hopefully a day or so depending on the turnout.

would there be any reason emu wouldnt work at all with this patch? i cant seem to log into any server, at all, i usually dont have this much trouble logging in (unless its my own server :rolleyes: ), crash every time after char select, no matter wich server :(... any suggestions? ;)

Well, someone didn't rtfm... You should always ask before patching with eqlive... SoE changes things to try and break the emu and until the devs can redo things to work, you won't be able to log on... Try logging into the 0.3.6-dev server. They're prolly testing the fixes there. Don' worry though, they'll eventually fix it, and you've learned a valuable lesson i'm sure everyone on this board has learned more than once :)

*grin* i did rtfm, and yes i saw that line, but didnt know about the patch, and started eq and got called outside, and sence i have cable, it was done before i came back in :p..... moral of the story: dont start eq and walk away? :D

but yeah thanks, ill try the 3.6 ;)

i sure am, still cant figure out what im doing, but then again i still dont really know what 3.6 is ? i think it is the servers, not sure but when it gets fixed maybe i know more. who knows

still doesn't know what Rtfm is but if someone could help me.

Patched it as well.. and crashing to desktop after char select, only used eqemu twice so dont have any clue how to fix it or how to run the 3.6.1 thing.. help prz :P
