Game freezes after i select server
 

Hey, I was having the issue where I could not see the servers after I logged in. That seems to be fixed now because I get server lists. Now after I select my server and try to connect it just goes black, and EQ is not responding, I have to open task manager and end it. I have tried doing the autojoin thing and that does the same. I am on a laptop but it can run EQ just fine. any suggestions?

Are you using a fresh install from the discs (Titanium or SoF) that is completely unpatched? Maybe some suggestions in the FAQ in my sig can help. I would guess it is probably either a version issue with EQ, or something to do with your directx or video resolution settings.

Yes fresh install from disk's it was Titanium. I have DirectX 10 and it what do you mean video settings? From my desktop? cause the game video settings are set to default because its a fresh install.

I just went into the options editor in the EQ folder, it was on 800x600 and I just tried 1600x1200 no luck.

sense I still cant find the edit button, I will just triple post. Sorry if it bugs anyone.. I am trying a new fresh install to see if that helps.
