Tried the FAQ- Connection Problem
 

Hey everybody,

So I read the FAQ and went through the steps to fix my problem. Which is when I try to connect, my screen turns black and all I can see is the little loading bar (delivering lion meat to Halas and such) then it just goes back to the login screen.

I do live in a dorm but i've been working with the IT guys and they're positive my 5998 port is not being blocked. I have the latest drivers, ect, ect...

I've changed my resolution all around but the same thing keeps happening. Any ideas?

I think this post is probably in the worng forum. This should probably be in Support::General Support.

It sounds like you are getting to the server selection screen. I am pretty sure that port 5998 is only for the initial connection. If memory servers, the game itself uses several ports within a wide range of other ports and it picks those ports randomly every time.

Aye, I probably should have looked a little closer before I posted. Definately a general support issue.
