So, out of curiosity, did I screw up my client somewhere down the line and ran the patcher? A few months ago, after it had been a while since I messed with emu or my eq files, I imagine it could be very possible that I accidentally ran the patcher.

So are there any work arounds, or do I need to reinstall? Or does anyone have any ideas for things I could check out to see if everything is still set up right?

Too my knowledge, it is still an unpatched version of titanium, because I can't connect to the patch server.

Try right clicking and using "Run as Administrator".

In my experience, you get the "Please run everquest.exe" popup if you run eqgame.exe without the patchme parameter. I have my clients installed into x:\Titanium or x:\SoF etc, rather than \Program Files on Vista to avoid any hassles with Administrator mode etc, though.
