Begging bug?

Hopefully this is the right spot for this:

My son was playing on my private PEQ Windows server with the SoF client using my own compiled version (12xx) and noticed the Begging skill seems to be bugged. When you attempt to use the Begging skill it subsequently renders your mouse targeting/clicking ability useless. (He was trying to beg in PoK).

You can still target using your F keys. I've replicated this with Titanium too.

anyone have any ideas on this? i also have the same problem. did a search and saw another post from 2006 with the problem and no resolution? is begging just not working on the PEQ builds?

This is an EQEmu code issue, so nothing to do with PEQ (database). Nevertheless, begging should no longer bug the client in Rev1279.

seems with latest build 1356 that begging is messed up again.
