Are disciplines active?
 

I see the items are in the game but i havent been able to get them to work.

Some servers allow the use of #traindisc 75 to train melee disciplines up to level 75. I believe you can also give the melee tomes to your guild master which will cause your character to learn the discipline. You may also have to zone after to using either method in order for them show up correctly.

Thanks Blackdragon. after i learn the discipline. how do i use it?

there is a hotkey window you can have show up its specificly designed for them. it has a timer for disciplins if you click on the S button you can make hotkeys for the disciplin hotkey window. i found this window in the eq button. just explore you should have no problem finding it.

That part was the key for me. I trained the discipline but it didn't show up in my list for making a hotkey. Once I zoned, it was there. Thanks!
