Problem with trying to run 2 instances of EQ
 

Hi, I use to 2 box and sometimes even 3 box on live, never had the problem I am currently having and wondering if anyone else is having this problem.

Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 gigs ram, Windows Vista, Nvidia 1 Gig

Okay so those are the basic specs, here is the problem.

I run one instance get it into the server and everything. I start up the second instance and get into the server and everything, then I will tab back to the other. Now sometimes it will let me do this more than once, sometimes it won't. However, every time without fail within a few minutes the first instance I open will turn black when I tab back over, I can still move the character I know cause I would hit W for a few seconds switch back and my 2nd instance would see my 1st character move forward then stop. I could even zone with the blacked out instance, the only way to get out if to /exit and come back in, /camp still left it black.

Anyone else having this problem? Know the solution?

Get win EQ 2 it'll fix that problem, even if you get the free version.

I downloaded that and its not working properly. The only preferences I have are general, I can't set anything up or open EQ with it. I didn't come in here without trying and I wouldn't have three boxxed on live without know what win EQ is :-p

Okay fixed it, got wineq working, seriously tho, running things as administrator is the worst idea windows ever came up with.
