Enabling PVP for a specific zone
 

While editing the database, I haven't found a column specifically for changing a zone to pvp enabled (Like the arena)

Invest in researching the server perl interface. It has everything you need.

Also, I think you will find that the arena pvp activation is a client function and not a function of the server.
