Will someone run a 'legit' server?
It would be really nice if someone could run a legit server kind of like the EverQuest.... I'm pretty sure you can run a server like that. I want to play a EverQuest server like that not just spawn items and crap.
Is it possible? If it is will someone run it? |
Were pretty close I believe all we need is...
Guildmasters (totally working) Disciplines Alt. Advancements More Interactive NPCs (Basic pathing) |
WR
You might check on winter's roar, once it is finished. Supposedly going to be new items, spells, quests, stuff like that. Still in heavy testing, though.

This sounds exciting, I'd pay good money to have my own, fully functional, EQ server to invite my guildmembers to come play on.
No more fighting over content, it'd just be a matter of setting the day and time. |

Wow... I'm glad for this I haven't played EverQuest in about 2 years and It will be fun to have a simulation lol. You never know we can sell characters over ebay and stuff.. but I'm pretty sure the GMs would give thier selves items and sell them....
I pretty much doubt it Thanks for the replys |
flamebait? NAAAAAA

A server where you don't go Link dead every 5 mins would be nice.

Damn Image.....ya'll are that close?
I'm tryin to figure out a way to clean the database, getting sick of seeing 3 Guntriks! heehh Anyones suggestions on a progy to use would be welcomed. BUT.......I NEED......Clarification......PLEASE...... What is the order for the NPCs into the database.....what I mean is............. first ya need an: NPC (a_ugly_arcalyn, 42, 2334,12 3242 blah blah) <NPC> then ya need: ????? Spawngroup (2353,'fearplane') <WHICH ZONE> then maybe: ?????? what does this do? other than %chance to spawn Spawnentry (point-to-spawngroup, point-to-NPC_type, %) <????> then: ???? Spawn2 (values) <SET WHO AND WHERE to spawn> ^ not worried about the loot part of this yet just the above ^ Basically I'm asking what are these for? Obviously don't answer the ones I have figured out correctly =) NPC_type - to define the npc and its traits/abilities/skills. Spawngroup - selects the NPC_type and NOCLUE? Spawnentry - Looks like it just combines but what? Spawn2 - to specify the location of the NPC to spawn. No guesses from the peanut gallery, please.....just info from a DEV when they get time. I need to understand those in order to clean up the database; I have got boat loads of time at work to organize the HQ_spawn.sql database. |
