How do I make it work with windows XP ?
 

It works fine with vista. Did the exact setup (changing eqhost.txt and adding patchme to shortcut) but get error message after double clicking shortcut - "eqgame.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close"

Try reading the FAQ in my sig and specifically check out the resolution related ones and maybe the multi-core CPU ones.
