Help with Setting up Emulator
 

Hey, just wondering if anybody would be kind enough to help me out with getting EQ Emulator set up. I followed all the directions exactly and when I click on the shortcut it attempts to patch and then gives me this message "Error: Could not download to file. Please rerun EverQuest.exe to try again." Any idea what is the problem? I did what the guide said and yet this still happens. I'm feeling pretty vexed at this point and hoping that I can get this fixed soon. Looking forward to any assistance, thks! :)

Nothing should attempt to download. It shouldn't be "EverQuest.exe" that runs. It should be "eqlaunch.exe". Check your shortcut again.

It's eqgame.exe, not eqlaunch.exe or everquest.exe.
