eqgame.exe crashes
 

I know there are tons of threads about this but my problem is upon clicking on the eqgame.exe shortcut. It immediately gives me the error "eqgame.exe has encountered an error." I set my desktop resolution to 800x600 and was able to run it no problem but when I change it back to my normal resolution I get this error. Any idea why I cant start the game at my usual resolution?

You may have to creep up your resolution in small increments by going back and forth from your desktop to your options in EQ. I've experienced something similar before.
