I check'd out to C:/EQEmu/EQEmu Server Files from the repository: http://projecteqemu.googlecode.com/svn. However, in C:/EQEmu/EQEmu Server Files/trunk/EQEmuServer/EQEmuLoginServer/Login_util/ it has login.ini instead of eqemulogin.ini (though it does have login_opcodes.conf and login_opcodes_sod.conf). Is login.ini the new version of EQEmulogin.ini? I found a copy of eqemulogin.ini posted somewhere and the formats of the two files look different.

Also, is peqdb_rev1549 compatible with the svn posted eqemuloginserver.exe?

I've been reading for hours and hours and I'm just confused now =(

Yes, the EQEmuLoginServer has been rewritten since that guide. Most of the instructions are still accurate, but some of them need a few minor corrections.
