When I load EQ game i get a cursor and a black screen??
 

hey guys, its strange, eg seems to run fine and there are no crashes, just when I run the program i get the eq2 cursor and a black screen, doesnt hang just nothing happens :) any clues as to how to fix this? ty :)

Maybe a resolution issue. Check the FAQ in my sig for suggestions.

i tried changing the resolution, but it was the same thing, when i right clicked in certain areas the cursor changed to a cross type curser with 4 arrows

Have you tried changing your eqclient.ini to load EQ in Windowed mode or in full screen? Also, are you sure you have DirectX9c installed?

You need to also install DirectX 9c. One comes with the Titanium install if you haven't installed that version yet. I am sure you can find downloads for it elsewhere as well if needed.

i installed trev but to now avail, any other suggestions? and how do i change the eqclient.ini to windowed?

press alt+enter when you are on the black screen, goes into windowed :)

I had the same issue, and this worked

The alt-enter solved my problem as well, however is there any permanent fix to this?
