High Ping on Own Server. (Not solved via old posts)
 

Im running on cable win 98 .. no firewall and datarat at 10.0 and im still getting terrible packet loss and ping.... it running a normal server on my own with no one else on it atm. Does anyone have any furthur advice?

set datarate to 7.0 and try again.. also, try trimming off 1-3 of the zone.exe's (just close the window but make sure at least two are running).

Its still very bad... =( any other ideas?

i tried that message thing to replace the messages source and it worked for about 3 hours... then i got stuck in dreadlands and had to #movechar and now its instant linkdead again.... wtf?
