Blank past sever select

Everything works fine loading,get to server select,pick one...start to go to splash screen and entire window goes black and stays there.I have to use task manager to kill it...any thoughts on whats wrong?

Using Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition (64-bit) AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 830 Processor,4 core, 8 gig.

Same problem with me, and I got the exact same computer.I've gone through some of the suggestions with the quad CPU issue thing, and nothings worked yet.

Same thing for me, though I have a dual core athlon and am running XP sp3.

Any suggestions? Not gonna hold my breath for this 3 week old post =/
