Sounds like your emulator is missing map files. Check your Emulator\maps directory for .map and .wtr files there are between 600-700 files total. If you don't have them you can get most of them from http://eqemumaps.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/Maps/

Also check your Emulator\plugins directory there should be approx. 17 files in that folder. If you don't have them then copy them from the Emulator\quests\plugins directory. This is assuming you have updated your quests folder. If you don't have an updated quests folder they can be obtained from http://projecteqquests.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/quests/

anyone have an idea?

I vaguely remember this to be related to your client spells_us.txt file. Are you using the stock spells_us.txt file that came with your client (Titanium/SoF/SoD, whatever),
or do you somehow have a custom one downloaded from playing on another server ?

I would try re-installing EQ.

Yeah, the problem is that the client spell file does not match the server spell file. The best thing I can recommend is to do an export of your spells_new table using the import and export scripts for spells that come with the server code. Then, use the spells_us.txt that is generated by the export script and replace (preferably rename first) your old spell file in your EQ folder. Once your client matches the server, you shouldn't have this problem anymore. Make sure you restart EQ after swapping the spell file.
