not connecting to emulator
 

ive done everything in the getting started wiki, no patches, but still eq brings up the eula and whatnot. its not connecting to the emu server... help anyone?

re-installed and repeated processes twice now, still nothing..

does it say everquest not responding at the top...cause mine is. it takes me several times to get to character page then when i enter world it says again not responding freezing up and going right back to the login screen. :S

no, i cant even get the emulator to start. EQ just starts like its a normal install. its not a login issue.

Might fix your issues.

yes copy that to your eq shortcut properties target at the end.

tried that and "eqgame.exe" patchme -w. hmm. might be the downloaded copy.. ill head to my storage and dig out my old discs. hopefully that works.

if you have windows vista try C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /C start /affinity 1 eqgame.exe patchme and if not take out the -w and just keep the rest at the end with a space in between if that resolves your issue :)
