ERROR: 10061 (Another solution found)
Just wanted to post this for anyone who might want to check this problem.
I just had a problem with my "world" not connecting to login server. At first, I was suprised, because nothing had been touched, no settings altered. The server had been running 2 days (I never shut my puters off). But the power went out for 10 minutes. After that my server came up with the error when I booted up again. It turns out, when the power went off and came back on, it reset the router on the LAN and each of my puters was assigned a different internal IP. So I had to go into everything and change all that. My 192.168.1.103 got changed to 192.168.1.101 on the reset. |
You should be able to set up static IP addresses for your computers in the router administration software. That way you won't ever need to worry about this again.

Ya, I know, I just haven't got around to it yet. I was planning on going in and doing some port forwarding soon, to let friends log in, but just want to get the server itself ironed out first.
