timeout error with Underfoot pack.
 

I did not have any EQ files or apps installed on my computer.
I installed Steam and through Steam I just installed the underfoot package.

as instructed by the Wiki i changed the eqhost.exe and made a "patchme" shortcut.

Have a login server account but every time I tried to log on I run into the "A timeout error occured"

Any idea about what I might be doing wrong?

Make sure you open port 5999 on your computer's firewall. Depending on your router, you might also have to setup a rule on it's firewall as well.

Yeah, make sure you set eqhost.txt to use port 5999 not 5998, as anything SoD or later requires port 5999.
