Ideal computer setup for Everquest?

I made another thread in General Support about trying to make everquest work on a bootcamp windows. After trying everything possible i've just decided to buy a windows computer instead. So, what computer model would you suggest?

This computer is only for everquest (and maybe Battlefield 2) gaming online. Compatibility to EQ is key here. So ideally (from what i've learnt), the computer will have one processor (without hyper threading). I'll probably buy something 2nd hand from Gumtree.com,really - i'm trying to spend a small amount here, on a computer that will actually work better than an advanced model.

Let me know what specs (graphics card et all) and model you recommend (maybe a small size PC so i can fit under my desk!)

Multi-Core CPUs are good if you intend to multi-box and if you run the SoD or later clients. If not multi-boxing though, a single core is fine if you can even still find one.

If you aren't multi-boxing, just about any stats will work. If boxing, the main thing you need to worry about is RAM. The more RAM, the better. Preferably 2-4GBs of RAM should be good.

At first i didn't think i would multibox. Actually tho, if it's hard to find a group then it could suck being a ranger (or some other support class).

Here are some examples of cheap computers. (This one would be for if i didn't multibox) >>> (unless advised otherwise)

This computer i might buy for multiboxing (has more ram):

These computers were made for businesses, so i am wondering if they'll have sufficient onboard graphics card to run eq.

When I started playing EQEmu I didn't think I would multibox. Then I started 2-boxing, then 4-boxing. My computer has only 3 GB RAM, and 4-boxing is all it could handle. If I had more RAM I would have 6-boxed for sure.
