i have put patchme at the end and when i run eqgame.exe the window that comes up is black and has the game pointer and thats it cant see nothing but that. any help here??:mad:

Unplug your second display.
 

When you have more than one display hooked up EQ will give you a black screen with a cursor only, just unplug the other monitor(s) from the GPU. Annoying if you use them for other stuff, but only work around I have found for when I want to play EQ.
