Underfoot - Server not responding
 

I just DL'd and installed Underfoot today and cannot get past character select. I get to my toon and attempt to log him on and receive the message "Server Not responding".

I can log on fine using the Titanium client, but not the UF. I coped files over from the titanium build and did a copy from live n the dbstr_us, but still no joy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Use port 5999 in your eqhost.txt.

Right. I have that.

You do bring up an interesting issue tho. There was no eqhost file when I finished the DL. I had to create it, but did so from the getting started thread.

The eqhost.txt I have:

[LoginServer]
Host=eqemulator.net:5999

After reading through several other EMU forums I see this issue isn't new and there doesn't seem to be a fix for it. Some thought the problem might lie in items on the toon so I logged in a fresh account and attempted to create a new character. It would not allow me to create a char using UF. Very confusing.

If its the steam download, did you check this wiki out, may cure the problem

If it is not the Steam download, all bets are off as only the Steam download is supported.

Thanks for the tips. I did follow all the directions, including doing a one for one copy of the missing files.
