Modifying Short-cut on Windows 7

Hello All,

I am running a fresh copy of windows 7 and when I try to modify the shortcut so that I don't patch I receive an error that:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme

is not an acceptible file location. Any windows 7 users playing eqemu that know how to fix this issue?

Thanks!

You're doing something wrong, because adding <space>patchme to the end of the line doesn't change the file location. Make sure you have not changed the Start In: part of the shortcut, and that the shortcut is actually pointing to the right place.

You would also save yourself a lot of potential headaches if you moved the EQ directory out of Program Files (x86) to somewhere like C:\EQ

Moving it out of program files and in to C: worked for me.

Thanks for the help.
