Bot Death
 

Been messing around with the bots. The system seems to work really well wiht one exception. What happens when a bot dies? It seems like when a bot dies you can just instantly resurrect it and it comes back at full life with no penalties. Obviously very different from when you play with actual people and there is a penalty for dying. Is there a way to implement this? Maybe make bots unavailable for 5 minutes after dying or something? Am I just using them the wrong way?

Bots have res effects if you are on the current revision.

Understood. Been reading the forums alot and thought the bot section was for discussion by devs only. Wasn't sure where else to put this cause I didn't think it was that and wasn't sure if it was a bug, but in the future i'll know.

Yeah, most people don't know of or care for bots, so we get our own section and are encouraged to stay within.

But yes, there are rez effects after bots die, which definitely affect the casters quite a bit. I sometimes wish I hadn't implemented it.. :shock:
