login, cant type, keyboard responds but cant enter info
 

I know, sounds strange, but I can get to the login screen. I can click on the block and when i try to type my login info nothing happens. It's like the keyboard is unplugged..BUT..i can use the space bar, back space bar, and tab around. I can watch the cursor move, but as soon as i try to type any letters or numbers i get no response?

One other symptom, when i alt+enter it just black screens EQ. It's not "buggy"; it straight up crashes and I have to restart.

Any ideas? I tried some screen resolution adjustments in the .ini and i even deleted the .ini and loaded a new copy.

I also had a friend send me his functioning .ini and I had exactly the same problem.

I also copied the entire folder to a second PC and had the exact same issues.

Both boxes are XP.

Really dying to play :(

I had the same issue. What fixe it for me was turning off my antivirus program and then it allowed me to type into the log in screens.
