Cannot connect
 

I changed all the right files i need to going off the the "getting started page"
When i click the shortcut all that pops up is " Could not establish connection contact S+E"
Please help me out.

I set up login server name/port in options, and permissions in firewall, but I get this message every time I try to connect with Eqemu launcher:
Could not reach eqemulator.com. Trying again in 30 seconds.

I also changed eqhost and launched EQ, but same error as you, couldn't connect.

I too am having this problem. How did you fix it?

I am having this problem as well. When trying to connect I get the following error message:

Could not establish a connection.
Please check your network connection
or contact eqtech@soe.sony.com

I have followed the instructions to change my host file and disable automatic patching. What am I missing here?
