Setting The Expantion
Ok,
I went into variable in the DB and set the Epantions to 0. Went into rule_values and set World:ExpansionSettings to 0. Even tried going into ruletypes.h and setting Expantions to 0 then compiled. My account status is set to 0. No matter what I can still go into like the PoP expantion and all the other Expantion objects are there. I still have access to all the other expantions. The only thing it did change is the graphics to classic (Titanium) and limited the class/race combinations. I remember the last time I was playing with this a few years ago that when I changed those settings it actualy made like the PoP books go away and made it where I couldn't access the other expantion zones. Did I do something wrong or am I missing something? |
well the PoP books will not magically disappear because of the setting - they would need to be manually removed.
I am not sure if expansion setting suppose to prevent zone access, but the expansion setting is mostly a signal for the Client which races/classes to allow and whenever turn on Luclin models. |
How would you go about removing the PoP books or things like that? are they in the DB someplace.. considered an NPC?
|
they are Doors/portals =)
here they talk how to delete them, but you can also simply DISABLE them by changing the Open type so its non clickeable (check wiki) http://www.eqemulator.org/forums/sho...ghlight=remove |
