Mob stats
Greetings!
I'm curious if any one knows the inner workings of NPC attack and accuracy fields. I'm attempting to make mobs a little more difficult, tweaks, etc. But from my testing, I can get extreme results with extreme changes, but, I have not been able to really find a happy middle ground. Part of the problem is that I don't understand how they work. So, EQEmu, how do you tweak your mobs? Do you use those fields or do it differently? Ok thanks guys! Have fun! |
Atk and Accuracy are not needed for normal NPCs, the code handles that automatically. They are there to give your NPC an extra push to make it a high end raid encounter. By the very nature, there is no real middle ground with those values. You either deal with mostly stock values, or have a very overpowered NPC on your hands.
