Erotic EQ Solo Progression Server
 

Hello i want to announce that the Erotic Evequest Server has been restarted for the first time as a progression server. The mechanics of our gear based character progression combined with the progression through the everquest expansions should be a good time.

I just wanted to add a few things about this server, since I have been playing for a few weeks and have really enjoyed my time here (that was before the wipe, im back to level 11 and loving every minute!)

Anyways how this server works is it is set up to emulate live like progression and is definitely not a cakewalk, but still tuned for solo play. But here is a rundown on all of the custom content Ive seen so far.



Regen
Out of Combat regen after 12-18 seconds is set about 12% a tick. Meaning from completely dead it should only take 1 minute to regen to full.


New Armor Calculations
Mob damage calculations have been modified to allow AC to have a greater effect at higher AC values for Mitigation and Avoidance.... This means that even cloth armor will make a difference, no armor will feel like it is wasted just because it isnt God or Dragon loot.


Buff Bots
At most Druid Circles and Wizard Spires there are randomly spawning Buffbots and for a nominal fee will buff with their respective buffs, Wizards, Druids, Shaman and Clerics are all randomly spawning and they will Shout to announce their arrival. usually spawn once an hour and stay for about 15 minutes.


Increased XP
XP is raised I believe to 1.5 or 2x, it makes the leveling experience fun and enjoyable without being a total grind.


Old school feel
No Hub, This means those buffing Wizards and druids that randomly spawn will be utilized greatly for their porting abilities too! That and running is always an option.


Spell Scriber
Auto scribed spells up to level 26 currently, as well as auto trained skills on level, allowing players to stay out instead of having to return to buy spells and train skills every level or two.


Truly Custom Stat Formulas!
The biggest change however is how the stats work here, Furniture has completely redone the stats here to scale based on level. Now when you get a +5 strength item you will actually notice a difference in damage, or that +5 Agility ring will actually increase your armor class and avoidance instead of just keeping you above 100 to avoid any penalties. This change also effects Casters as Wisdom and Intelligence will effect spell damage as well as healing, now allowing for intelligence to actually effect damage in amazing ways as well as let wisdom be useful for strengthening buffs instead of just MORE MANA.

Along with the stat change Furniture the GM has allowed for there to be NO STAT CAPS. Although the client won't properly display them (YET) stats can be raised to any height given the proper gear, and with the stat changes this means your wizard with 900 intelligence will be blasting for 2 or 3x the amount he would at the normal 300 cap. This also means Berserkers with their mighty 2hs or 2hb will be crushing for well over the normal damage, and rogues with massive dexterity will be proccing left and right.


Progression
Lastly the progression won't be like all the other progression servers making you kill Gods, Dragons, Keying to get into said Dragons and grinding through the same experience, Furniture is providing a UNIQUE progression which will allow for people to get on with the game without having to kill the same dragon for the thousandth time and having unnecessary bottlenecks at rare spawns.



All in all this server is a great throwback to old school EQ with some really great twists to make solo play amazing once again. I have played on quite literally every solo server out there and nothing has given me the enjoyment Ive had here. From level 1 its a race to find the best gear and even that 2ac cloth armor you just got actually makes a difference now!

I really hope that this server becomes popular as the small population that is dedicated to it right now is truly one of the best and is lead by a great GM with an awesome talent and real dedication.

So if you are looking for a little bit of nostalgia, a decent challenge but amazing rewards this might just be the server for you so please come check us out!

you did char wipe ? there goes all the time and effort i put in for nothing.

Due to limited amount of time to work on it, the Erotic Everquest server is no longer a progression server. Expansions up to GoD are unlocked again. Much more tweaks, bonuses, and balancing work then ever before. If you liked our core mechanics but was turned off by the change to progression, I welcome you to come back and give it a try.

We have introduced new "hardcore" mode for the chance to challenge yourself and recieve great items you cant get elsewhere:


Info about hardcore mode:
Now there is an opportunity, with the new Hardcore mode, to obtain some bonus items.

Remember that hardcore mode is optional.

*You must be at least level 10 to #hardcore*

Details: To enter hardcore mode, type #hardcore, you will delevel yourself down to level 1, and be lowered to a 1X stat and ac bonus from gear.
You can choose to delevel again, this time when you delevel, you will gain ebon crystals. The rate is (level * level) = ebon crystals gained. You will gain bonuses back depending on the amount of ebon crystals you own. You may delevel as many times as you want to collect crystals. You will retain your aa's through each delevel.

(note: Whenever you delevel with 0 ebon crystals, you will only gain 1 ebon crystal)

To leave hardcore mode, delete all your ebon crystals. (note: you will not retain your old level, just your 5x bonus)

Here is the current bonus chart:

Hardcore mode does not effect any other bonuses except the stats and ac bonus from gear.

There will eventually be an npc that will sell items for ebon crystals that will include epic 1.5-2.0, clickie illusions, etc. *coming soon*

Some interesting concepts, but I can't bring myself to select this creepy sounding server..

You should give it a shot, defenitly worth the few minutes it takes you to log in and see what its all about.....
