Incorrect Password Errors upon login.
 

So I'm a returning player, I spent time on a few other EMU Servers over the years as my play times changed or my friends jumped around.

The last server I played on was The Sleeper. I never had an issue using any server but now I am trying to play on the Irreverent server and I just cannot seem to log into the game.

I did a fresh install of EverQuest Titanium. I altered my eqhost file to; [LoginServer]
Host=eqemulator.net:5998

My desktop shortcut's target is;
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme

I am able to view the EULA, SoE emblem and login page but whenever I attempt to login with any one of my 6 login server accounts I get the error message that the account or password are invalid.

I have 2 forum accounts for a total of 6 login server accounts and not a single one will work.

I have registered my forum account via the e-mail that was sent to me and followed all of the steps stated on the EQEmulator : PlayGuide and I am at a loss, scratching my head. I have even uninstalled everquest multiple times and attempted to follow all the steps on the guide each time, with no luck.

Both my forum accounts, and their login server accounts were created less then 6 hours ago. Do they require an approval for access?

Did you check the FAQ in my sig? It may be that your password is too long and getting truncated by the LS. See if the FAQ suggestions help.

I actually did find the cause of this issue, I guess there was some sort of file or files left in my EverQuest folder that would direct me to The Sleeper server only in my C:\Users folders that I had to delete after doing a fresh everquest install.

I keep an install of the base eq client untouched, then when I check out a new server I create a new copy of the base client specifically for that server. Saves messing around backing up files.
