help with connection plz =(
 

Hi ive been trying to get on all diff types of server and i run 56k (im getting cable soon) this comp runs fine when hooked to my friends cable and without any troubles but with the 56k once i get to char select screen most of the time my char arent even there and then i get disconnected after like 30sec and when i go to make new char i get to about the choose name and i get booted i have never made it past the char select screen with 56k how can i fix this or where can i go to fix this? thank u

sorry i'm a newb, i get the same issue and thought it was my version so i uninstalled and reinstalled EQ without patching but then it says i need to patch... any help would be appreciated
