Target Buffs Not Displaying
 

Target buffs are not being displayed under the target window. For example, I cast a couple dots and they do display. If I select myself, buffs are shown.

I compiled from git 2/15/2014 and working through the tutorial (~10 hours) using a RoF client. With the exception above, no other oddities or crashing.

This was changed on live I think to show your buffs on the mob. I'm not 100% sure of that though. I know there is an LAA that allows you to see the buffs on a mob, so now on live we won't be able to test that anymore ...

Not sure I understand.

So what is the expected client behavior? It may be I am erroneously assuming I am to see buffs on my target including my own dots.

On live, as of today, everyone has all of the leadership skills so you can see buffs on the target. Before that you needed to have purchased the leadership skill.

The leader AA on eqemu does not reliably work to show NPC buffs. It is very reliable to shooter PC buffs.

I have been away from Everquest and EQEmu for quite some time. Loving EQEmu because I enjoy building services and consuming them. It has improved enormously from my first experience many years ago.
