Character Screen Problems
 

I finally got past the server select screen to the character screen but now none of the buttons will work.

This is not the same problem I see many talking about. I can see everything on the screen just fine.

I click the create character button and see the button depress but nothing happens. Like the script/code connected to the button is not running.

I'm running the SOD client.

Any ideas of what I can look at to fix this?

Not sure what was going on here but it was recreateable every time on every server I tried, including mine.

The short of it is I wish I could figure out why it's happening but more important to me is I was anxious to know if my server was actually working or not so I could play the game on it.

I am now using a Underfoot client I found on an old system I had and everything is working just fine on the server.

I post this so that anyone else that runs into this might have a direction to head.

I will probably at some point go back and try to figure out why the other client won't work and will post anything I find here.
