EQemulauncher Help?

So, It found my Everquest Directory but it says my eq.exe file cannot be verified any reason why? Did I do something terribly wrong? D:

Also, It was the version from steam, a guide said I could use it :P For Underfoot and I added the Patchme to the eq.exe file

Not sure if there's a current source for supported client versions, but anything recently downloaded from steam is almost certainly not compatible. Post the first line from <your eq directory>\Logs\dbg.txt and perhaps we can figure out what version you have.

It looks like:
Code:

[Sun Jan 05 07:05:22 2014]00000:Starting EverQuest (Built Jun  8 2010 16:44:32)

Yeah he MD5 hashes the .exe's and they are reported back to the webserver via API for validity and client version check to establish the correct files to be downloaded per client.

That's fine, but presumably a user will eventually want to connect to an emu server which means they need to be using a client that is compatible. It would be nice if the old wiki compatible client version page was migrated to the new wiki. I looked but didn't see it.

[May 10 2013] is the 3rd (current) RoF Steam download...

We do plan to add support for this version as soon as we can get to it..but, currently, it is not supported.

(I have a branch started for it..but, the information that I need to finish it requires a project much larger than I have time for atm...)
