Can't get past server select - not network problem, PC problem
 

Ok I have titanium - tried several reinstalls and can't get it working on my desktop. I also took EQ files (after installed), put them on a flash drive and copied it to my laptop (same network) and it works fine.

I also had a friend send me a copy (on a flash drive) of his game in the mail, same thing. Works on laptop, does not work on my desktop.

All it does is after I log in (station name/pw) when I click on any server it instantly punts me back to the login screen.

Tried setting game to run in older modes, tried setting CPU affinity to 1, tried booting windows with only 1 cpu in msconfig, tried running 1 monitor only, messed with different resolutions, etc it's the same shit no matter what I do. Game is also set to run in windowed mode - but if I set it to full screen it does the same thing, just black screen instead. Instant punt back to login.

The first question is always "what is different between the two computers?"

Same issue here, I select a server and poof back to login?

Could be Windows Firewall....
