Problems Setting Flag.

I've been talking with people in the MIRC chat and even though they were super nice in trying to help me with my Flag problems, still not working.

I need to set my account to ServerOP status. Ive done it through DOS, through msql, through FQadmin, through MySqlFront.. nothing. When I flag my account to 255, reguardless of how I do it, I can only reach 127 status..which is *GM*, limiting the abilities I should have as the admin hosting the server.

I tried making a new account but still only 127. If anyone has any ideas on how to help please post! Thanks. =)

Just outta curiosity, why 255? 200 will give you all of the commands.

Easy, SystemShark.

I had the exact same problem, this is due to a bug in the db.sql file.

Run mysql.exe, "use eq" or whatever your DB may be, and enter this:

Code:

alter table account modify status int(5) not null default '0';
Then try and set your status again.

The problem lies in the fact that right now your status column is a signed byte(3) meaning it supports values of -128 to 127, instead of being unsigned (0 - 255). The above line sets it to an int, allowing 255 and greater status, while still allowing negative for the ban and suspended status.

Thanks for the help. I had someone in the irc log in and change the file to help me out.

I did 255 because its higher, duh... IM SERVER OP!! UBAH!! =p

Thanks again. Safe hunting all.
