Crescent Reach ?
 
Hello,

I'm new to the eqemu content progression / PEQ database, so please be gentile. I have a couple questions.

1. Are the mobs in Crescent Reach faction-ed appropriately in the latest PEQ database? They're all non kos. I would think bears would attack on site. I can update this myself in the db, should I? (its weird because all of the tasks work well)

2. Some of the mobs in the zone cannot be attacked, Do I need a special update ? or should I just update the x,y,z in my own database?

3. Not specifically crescent reach, but some of the GOD+ zones, there are mobs that don't seem to have the factions and things set up. Can anyone help me to understand why that is ? Is that because PEQ hasn't done it? is there server code missing? quests ? etc. Just a question about the fundamentals of EQEMU i presume.

1. Only the undead are KOS on live.

2. the friendly NPCs in the town and the big dragons and stuff can't be attacked on live either

3. PEQ is only up to GoD, so anything past that is considered not finished/implemented. So up-to GoD should be fairly accurate, but there is always room for improvement.

Crescent Reach is only partially active to allow Drakkins (SoF+ clients) a place to call home.


I'm not sure what mobs can not be attacked as I have only played on low-level toons there.


As far as kos..are you playing a ranger?

I've noticed this on the ranger class..but, not other classes.

If you're having issues aside from this..I dunno... You'll have to be more specific.


PEQ is active up to GoD. Zones beyond that are populated..but, not 'active' - meaning factions, loot drops, quests, etc... are not implemented yet.

Thanks for the heads up. It makes sense now to allow the new race.
I did find that i can #fixspawn as a gm, and with a restart the mobs get populated in the right, and attackable position.
