Merchant Item Icons Displaying Incorrectly
 

This is a silly issue, not a big deal but just enough to be annoying.

Some of my item icons in the merchant window do not display within the merchant window itself, but when you right click on them and inspect the item, the icon displays correctly. They also display correctly in bags and in the general inventory slots.

I'm looking at some other icon stuffs..I'll take a look at this.

Are you using a recent peq database?

I can't seem to find either of the items that you're having issues with.

These are all custom items,i run a 100% custom server

I can try to duplicate the issue..but, I'll need more information.


Stuff like:

- Client version
- Database entry values for affected items
- et. al.


It could be a client issue..but, without pinpointing the cause, it's a guess.

There is a separate client definitions XML that is responsible for dragitems in merchant windows versus what you see in item info display windows.

That is probably where the discrepency lies (Client)

I run Underfoot, and followed the guide on the forums for getting all the modern icons into Underfoot client.

I'm leaning towards missing something on your client side as well, otherwise I would think when you "inspect the item" it wouldn't show the correct icon. Have any UI other than the default loaded? Etc, give things another good once over.
