Non RoF multi itemtypes?
 

Is there a way to make items have multiple item types and not just limited to 1? IE I want to make the ranger epic 2.0 a bow also. Primarily wanted to do it Via 2.5 aug and added range to it to make it viable, but when equipped in the ranged slot it will not fire. So whilst playing with this, I realized that I don't have any multi itemtypes items and was curious as to how its done.

It isn't being done, nor has it ever been done. Just make a new item and have a converter NPC to exchange them.

The only other thing that comes to mind is the Vibrating Gauntlets of Infuse/Vibrating Hammer of Infuse which transformed from one item to another.
