Multiple Zone Launchers

Could someone give an overview of the benefits of multiple zone launchers, how to get it to work, and whether its a good idea or not.

I personally wouldn't if it were on the same machine (can you?) due to the duplication of resources.

I thought, however, that the zone launchers could be on different computers..anyone know if that is true?

Never tried it myself...

Ahh! So its different launchers on other DBs?

Is there a best practice for launching static zones (lots)?
