EOC Dev - Local DB
 

I've been trying everything to get it hooked up to a database running on another computer with zero results. I've changed the config.php to 127.0.0.1, to the local ip 192.168.0.199, and even localhost, etc etc. I get no results. I feel like im missing something, but it's been around 4-6 hours of me fiddle farting with it. I give up lol

When you set up your 'external' database, did you click the option to allow external connections?

I followed the guide and completely skipped over that little box. Had to go back and now it connects. Thank you very much. Im such an idiot.
