Can you place here some howto for newbies, how to compile this software, i'm trying to make this with MAKE command, and i have a tonnes of warnings and errors, most of it in database.cpp ...

please, help newbie!!!!

Well do you have mysql running or compiled. If not then that is your problem.

I have compiled MySQL , version 3.23.49 and running 2 mounth ago with no problems...

Read the post i put up on compiling 3.13... There are a few tips in there to fixing your problems...

3.13 has a few things that need to be corrected before if will compile on linux.

There is a how to that I wrote quite a while ago, Im sure its still applicable for now. Scroll down adn read some of the older posts.

2 suggestions:

1. Search forums - each time a new version of the emu was released, several of us compiled it under linux and the fixes were posted as to how to get it to compile properly.

2. If #1 fails - Use windows. The binaries are already compiled and ready for you.

I bet you can get mysql precompiled for what ever packagesystem you're using.
Otherwise there is always install-notes and readme's. :roll:
