Can't connect to server on own network
I realized I posted this in the client forum by accident.
I just installed my own server, and am having a problem. I used Akka's installation program, and changed the IP addresses in login.ini and eqemu_config.xml to the actual IP of the machine it is on (a fresh Windows 8.1 x64 machine). I installed the client on a separate machine (SoF DVDs) and followed the client setup. When I connected to my server, it autocreated my account, but after server selection, the client screen goes black for about 2 minutes, after which I am returned to the login screen. The last line of the login server is: [login server] session ready indicated logged in from world(unsupported feature), disconnecting. I tried changing my eqhost.txt to point to one of the establish emulator servers running Akka, and it logged me into character selection just fine, so I think the problem is the server. The one forum post I could find about the error talked about an error in the data causing it, but it was from years ago, and I just got the Akka install. Can anyone help me? I can provide any config or logs if you let me know what is needed. Thank you in advance. |
