Sometimes I hate my (new) wife
 

The woman who got me started in EQEmu. She loves it but would not make a server to her liking. I was making one for her. She did not like some of the choices I made, so she was going to (finally) make her own. She ran eqemu_server from within my directory and created a "new" server completely over writing everything I have done....At least I have my notes on how to do everything that I have done so far.... I told her she owes me a 2 week vacation for erasing 2 weeks of work...

Two weeks of work?

You got no clue the amount of work that goes into a server. Two weeks is nothing.

Yeah, try over a year on some changes ...

Maybe you should of got that same woman to show you how to run the database backup .... ;)

Yup your right. I don't have any clue, but that's the point of me doing this is to learn.


Yup I did a backup after I set the basic rules etc. Just not before any loot table changes which I have been working on.

I’m lazy as hell. So 2 weeks is 2 months to me. I wrote scripts that basically write my content for me.
