GRR I CAN"T GET THIS TO WORK (Server Wise)
 

I have been trying to figure out this whole "Run your own server" thing for quite a long time! I must have had atleast 2 14 hours sessiosn trying to get this blasted thing to work. Anyway I have had my friend try everything with me I have got the "eq" database thing and all IPs set right and I think I have all the files in my EQEmu folder. :roll: But All I get when I click on the wrold.exe file is access denied bla bla har har seen it a million times! I have tried everything I mean EVERYTHING the read-me and all the lil help me files there are. I have tried on my win 98 computer and my win2k. It just doesn't wanna work :cry: So a lil help would be quite useful to a fella like myself :wink:

There is a "search" button on the top. Click that and do a search for Access Denied, you will get a ton of topics on the same matter. I would give you the command, but I can't remember the whole thing in my head, so just search.

Thx a bunch!!! Now I just get a locked server with no erros before I read this forum and did somemthin right..Got any ideas for this one?

It says LOCKED on the server select? Look at your loginserver.ini, do you have this line?
locked=false

If it says locked=true, then thats why its LOCKED
