Its apparently going to be a freedownload when its fully released. However, you can preorder for $17.99 it seems.

from soe's faq:
1) How much will this extension cost?

The pre-order cost will be $17.99. On the live date and thereafter, the price will increase to $21.99 (price subject to change). This is a one-time charge and does not affect your subscription plan.

Yeah, I saw that too, but the article from IGN said that it would be a free download. *shrug* Who knows. I didnt think so from Verant, but ya never know.

Perhaps it is a free download, but you have to pay for the key to enable it...

I know so MANY people had SO MUCH confusion over that on the EQ Chat (in game) and every EQ Fan site I saw.....if people used this simple skill they learned in 1st grade called READING maybe theyd see it. Maybe someday they will increase their skill in reading (2)

Has nothing to do with reading skills, or even observation skills. Its all a matter of misinformation. One thing says something, and another says another thing. I only posted what I had heard, as if it is true, many would be interested. *shrug* No biggie to me either way, just thought people might like to know. I have found IGN to be a reliable source so far, I couldnt see them posting stuff that was not true. However, after seeing the EQ site, it does seem that it is not. Who knows, guess we will find out what Verant has in store later.
